Jamaica is the only Caribbean country that hosts their carnival directly after the [holy] Easter period, the religious among us may not be happy with this but that’s just how it’s done by Bacchanal Jamaica (@BacchanalJA)… now for those who won’t be participating in the carnival this year, or perhaps you want to have some fun leading up to the Carnival Road March on Sunday, then we have the perfect events for you and yours this weekend:

Friday:

  • Intercollegiate Championships –  UWI Mona Bowl (UWI Mona Campus); 7 Mona Road, Kingston

  • Super Sunday (carnival viewing party) – Pulse Complex; 38 Trafalgar Road, Kingston Admission: $1000; PULS8 Black Cardholders, ladies and costumed revellers all enter FREE!!!
