What can you do for dad on Father’s Day? Here are FIVE things we know he will appreciate:

1. FOOD ! – whether you take him to his favourite restaurant, take him to brunch or even cook for him. You know he loves his food. Check out restaurants and hotels near by, they should have Father’s Day specials. Treat him to breakfast in bed or make his favourite dish for dinner.

2. SPORTS ! – watch a game with him this Sunday or take him to watch his favourite sport – a match should be taking place somewhere across the island, or take him to the Best Dressed Chicken, everyone’s a winner 5K…

Everyone's A Winner Best Dressed Chicken 5K

3. QUIET TIME ! – set him up with a good movie, cartoon or whatever he likes to watch; get him some snacks and give him some peace and quiet for a few hours. Daddies work hard, sometimes they just want a break.

4.  QUALITY TIME ! – go through your old photo albums with him. He will enjoy a trip down memory lane

5.  OUT AND ABOUT ! – take him out for dessert or just for a walk in the park or around your community, or even out to the beach, he will really enjoy it. Popular dessert spots are: Devon House, Tutti Frutti, Susie’s Bakery and restaurants like Cuddy’z (@cuddyzsportsbar on Twitter) and Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records (@UBTandR on Twitter) have great desserts too.

enjoy!
